Welcome to Royal History – and the Story Behind Royal History63 & Royal Chronicle Weekly
History isn’t just about dates and events—it’s about the people, the drama, and the traditions that have shaped the UK and the Commonwealth. Through Royal History, I bring those stories to life, whether through my YouTube channel or weekly newsletter, Royal Chronicle Weekly.
But have you ever wondered why it’s called Royal History63? The name wasn’t chosen at random—it has meaning, just like everything I create.
The Origin of Royal History63
When I first started Royal History, I knew exactly what I wanted it to be—a space to explore monarchs, traditions, scandals, and defining moments from across British and Commonwealth history. But when I joined social media, I found that simply Royal History wasn’t available. I needed something unique, something that still reflected my vision.
That’s when I landed on 63.
There have been 63 monarchs who have ruled over England and later the United Kingdom. From Alfred the Great to Charles III, each of them left their mark, shaping the monarchy and the world around them. Adding 63 to Royal History wasn’t just about standing out online—it was about tying my brand to the very heart of British royal history. And so, Royal History63 was born.
A New Chapter: Royal Chronicle Weekly
As Royal History63 grew, I wanted to expand beyond YouTube and offer something more—a space where I could dive deeper into history, share behind-the-scenes insights, and explore stories in a way that video alone couldn’t capture.
That’s when I launched Royal Chronicle Weekly, my weekly newsletter dedicated to bringing forgotten tales, royal intrigues, and historical insights straight to your inbox.
The name had to reflect what the newsletter was all about:
• Royal – because everything ties back to the monarchy and its influence.
• Chronicle – because history is a collection of stories, recorded and passed down through time.
• Weekly – because every week, I uncover a new tale from the past.
I wanted Royal Chronicle Weekly to have its own distinct identity while remaining a part of the Royal History brand. Whether you’re a seasoned historian or just love a good royal story, this newsletter is here to educate, entertain, and connect history lovers across the Commonwealth and beyond.
What’s Next?
Building Royal History63 has been an incredible journey, and I’m excited about where it’s going next. From expanding the YouTube channel to growing this community, there’s so much more history to uncover together.
So, welcome to Royal Chronicle Weekly! I’m thrilled to have you here as we explore the past—one story at a time.
